Word² is a challenging game where you must unscramble each word not just once, but twice!
Inspired by word squares which date well into ancient times, each square contains words in pairs that can be read both horizontally and vertically. Words are scrambled and your objective is to use hints, clues and logic to decipher each square.

Word² app good for
Quick to go through the 3x3 grids. The 4x4 grids are offering me a greater challenge than I expected.
A challenging and engaging way to test your problem solving and/or pass the time!
Word^2 is a really fun word puzzle game. The only reason Im not giving it a 5-star rating is because I find the restriction to vertical or horizontal swapping only to be unnecessary and just annoying.
I want to be able to swap the letters freely as I try to solve the puzzles!
Play at your own pace. Some of the words are proper nouns which I wasnt expecting. Challenging but not frustrating.
If you enjoy crosswords or word puzzle games this one is for you.
I loved this one. Got to level 80 and sad it was over, but a lot of fun getting there.
Some bad moments
3s were OK. First puzzle using 4 turns out theres at least one other answer but the game only recognizes programmed answer. After a couple of hints they start gouging.
Very difficult once you reach the 5 x5 stages. More given letters are needed and if you ask for a clue, itd be helpful if they were locked in rather than just flashing it on the screen.
Just changed my rating down to one star. Your in app purchases list unlimited hints at $12.99; when you try to purchase this through the app lo and behold it is now $24.99. I thought$12.99 was a rip off but $24.99 is highway robbery for this game. I have deleted it. There are others available for much less.
There are those who will pay for hints and there are people who are sane. This is a cute idea for a word game but the possibilities for words runs in the hundreds of thousands. If I was that desperate to show my proficiency with the English language, I would prefer writing the great American novel. Then people would pay me.
When there are multiple solutions, all should be accepted. This word puzzle is not difficult but it is annoying.
This fun game walks the line between killing time and wasting it. Very addictive and challenging...
